PARADE NIGHTS

3 Squadron parades every Wednesday night, during the school term and occasionally during the school holidays. Our parade night starts from 6:00pm (1800hrs) until 9:00pm (2100hrs).

We run a variety of activities over weekends, but generally 10 weeks of notice is given for these. Cadets usually find it quite easy to manage sporting commitments around weekend activities.

You will generally find us parading at 202 Hillsborough Roadhowever some Wednesdays we go off site to complete exercises such as our Operational Fitness Test and house competitions.

THE UNIFORM

You will wear a similar Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) uniform, with rank slides distinguishing you as a cadet from the Airforce. Uniform is to be worn every week to Air Training Corps (ATC) parade nights unless otherwise specified in Weekly notices and at other formal occasions such as ANZAC Day parades. You will receive a short and long sleeve shirt, tie, jersey, trousers, and an FS cap.

Our uniform is:

  • Issued on loan bases - must be returned if you resign from ATC

  • To be worn as per RNZAF standards

  • Worn only on NZCF activities
